To be progressive, dynamic and exlusive- this was the joint demand set 3 years ago by flooring accessories producer Pedross and the specialist photo technical company, Durst Phototechnik AG, who are also from South Tyrol, Italy. This demand was set to work on the project of digital printing. The result of this joint development is a totally newly developed digital printing machine.    

“We were not happy with the machines known on the market. Since the beginning of March, we are producing with a machine, which until now is the only one worldwide, which is at our Pedross headquarters.” Sebastian Kurz, technical director at Pedross,  is pleased to announce.

PEDROSS is concentrating on finding new and environmentally friendly energy solutions. The new logistics centre, built in 2008, and a production hall have been equiped with a photovoltaics roof.

Brothers Peter Paul and Armin Mitterer were recently honoured for their 35 years continuous service to Karl Pedross AG in Laces. The ceremony took place in the mercantile building in the regional capital city of Bolzano.

After searching for the right time for a visit, it was our pleasure to finally welcome our colleagues from Bürkle to Latsch.

An abundance of international contacts!

This year’s traditional meeting of the association of businesses’ wood department was held in Latsch on 28.September 2007, together with the Tyrolean saw industry section of the chamber of commerce. 25 business managers from South Tyrol and 15 from North Tyrol took part in the event, which was organized by the association of businesses’ wood department’s president  Paolo Bortolotti (Legnosund AG, Auer). The Tyrolean delegation was led by president Michael Hofer.

The open day at PPC on 10. & 11.09 was a great success and we had the pleasure of being there.

They made it : After overcoming 240 km and around 13. 800 metres of altitude difference.

Our summer party, which traditionally takes place before the company summer holidays, was of course once again not forgotten about. Managing director Martin Pedross welcomed the large crowd of employees and proudly paid tribute to long-term, well respected colleagues.
